The LWVCA is committed to educating and enabling voters. We host non-partisan candidate forums prior to local elections, where constituents can ask questions and hear the candidates' views on policy issues in their area. For more information, please read LWVCA's Policy on Candidate Forums.

Our next candidate forum will be for the South Carolina 1st Congressional District U.S. House of Representatives. It will be held on October 13 at 7:00pm at the Wando High School Auditorium, 1000 Warrior Way (off Route 17 North) Mount Pleasant, SC. The public is invited to hear the 6 candidates speak and answer questions submitted by the audience.

Voters' Guides

During election season, the LWVCA questions candidates regarding their policy stances, and we publish their responses in our non-partisan Voters' Guides. They are a source of un-edited and comprehensive information for voters.

These guides will be made available on our website as soon as possible before elections.
