New Photo ID Requirements

From SCVotes.org: Beginning January 1, 2013, you will be asked to show one of the following Photo IDs at your polling place:

S.C. Driver's License
ID Card issued by S.C. Department of Motor Vehicles
S.C. Voter Registration Card with Photo
Federal Military ID
U.S. Passport

Get Registered to Vote

  • REGISTER ONLINE

    -Requires S.C. Driver's License or DMV ID

    -The online application will allow you to register at your DMV residence address

    -If you have moved, you must first update your residence address with DMV

  • Register in person at your county board of voter registration, or
  • Download a form, complete it, and mail, fax, or scan it to your county board of voter registration
